Weather Forecasts for the New England Region

Monthly Archives: September 2018

Hello everyone! We have a bit of wet weather pushing through the region tomorrow associated with the remnants of what was Hurricane Florence.  And while we won’t see the magnitude of rainfall that many in the Carolina’s have experienced, we are in for a good soaking tomorrow.  The National Weather Service has issued Flash Flood Watches for tomorrow.

NWS Watches & Warnings

Rain will spread from west to east across the region during the early morning hours tomorrow and last through the early afternoon.  The heaviest ran looks to fall north of the Massachusetts turnpike into southern Vermont and New Hampshire.  Currently, the NWS is expecting the below amount of rain to fall.  The forecast amounts in Connecticut and Rhode Island may end up verifying a touch high in my opinion.

Potential Rainfall

With 2-4″ of rainfall over an 8-10 hour period, the threat for localized flash flooding is very real.  Please do not drive through any flooded roadways.
